Every membership year, you are allowed up to four (4) free calls per member for Roadside Assistance. After that, a service charge applies. Classic membership benefits include free towing up to seven (7) miles from the point of breakdown or unlimited miles back to the facility providing the tow. Service is provided by independent service providers and is limited to the U.S. and Canada. Certain conditions and limitations apply. See the Member Guide for more information.

Upgrading Your Membership - New members can join the Auto Club at the Classic level of benefits only. Existing members with Classic level of benefits are eligible to upgrade to Plus^® or Premier^® if the primary member in the membership household has been a primary member of the Auto Club for the prior 90 days and there have been no tows in the membership household through the Auto Club during this same period. Existing members with Plus level of benefits may upgrade to Premier at any time. Former members of the Auto Club who previously had Plus or Premier level of benefits within the past 365 days can rejoin at the Plus or Premier benefit level. Extended Roadside Assistance services for Plus or Premier, along with other selected benefits, or optional RV and motorcycle services are effective seven (7) calendar days after processing and receipt of the full payment due.

Membership eligibility, dues, fees, benefits, and services are subject to change without notice. An individual may have only 1 membership. All applications and renewals are subject to approval and acceptance by the Automobile Club of Southern California. Membership includes a nondeductible $2 subscription for WESTWAYS, ORANGE COUNTY WESTWAYS OR SAN DIEGO WESTWAYS magazine. Returned checks and electronic payments may be re-presented for payment. Each returned payment is subject to a returned payment fee, which may be debited electronically. See fee amount.
