General account information
We know your premium going up for any reason is disappointing. Increased mileage, rising repair costs, rate changes, and taxes are some factors that can affect insurance premiums. While we’re always working to keep insurance costs as low as possible, inflation has been rising faster than usual which has resulted in higher prices for many goods and services. This trend has also impacted the insurance industry, making it necessary to increase rates to keep pace with inflation. Learn more about how inflation affects insurance rates.
Premium adjustments will vary by policy depending on individual policy rating factors, such as the number of vehicles insured, years of driving experience, total annual miles driven for each vehicle, driving record, qualifying discounts, and other rating factors. Your premium may also be impacted by changes that have been made to your policy since last year.
Our specialists can help you review your policy and ensure you’re getting the right amount of coverage and all the insurance discounts you may qualify for. If you have questions about your premium increase, please contact us.
Our insurance policyholders may qualify for driver, homeowner, multi-policy, and other discounts. See our insurance discounts. Discounts vary based on where you live.
